Sensitive Political Situation

The "sensitive political situation" between North and south Korea has come true and hit the headlines. North Korea has threatened to turn Seoul into a "sea of fire" in response to a joint military exercise between the United States and South Korea.

Just days after North Korea threatened war with South Korea, China "is taking a softly-softly approach" just as Vine predicted. China has formally invited Kim Jong-un (the youngest son of North Korea's leader Kim Jong-il) to visit.

Further Political Unrest

Reports say that North Korea is behind GPS signal disruptions in South Korea, which caused malfunctions in mobile phones.

If the North were responsible for either or both of the incidents, it could mark an escalation of tension between North and South Korea, already high after recent exchange of threats of war and retaliation.
